Job summary

Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam seeks a friendly host to greet guests, manage check-ins, and assist with reservations at the Vinkeveen/Amsterdam hotspot. You’ll inform guests about local highlights, help with luggage, and ensure a smooth, memorable stay.

Part-time shifts include mornings and evenings, and you’ll join a team that values service excellence. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with a genuine hospitality mindset and strong communication skills to handle guest needs and busy

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You assist guests with check‑in and tell them about the highlights they absolutely shouldn’t miss. Meanwhile, you receive a phone call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem — you take care of that too. You notice the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them right away. You’re genuinely curious about how they experienced their stay with us. You take their luggage so they can enjoy the city a bit longer before they leave. They tell you they’ll be back soon. That’s why you do it!

The newest hotel of our chain is located directly at metro station Overamstel. The location of this 4-star superior hotel is ideal: 5 minutes from the Zuidas and the RAI, 10 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The hotel has 18 floors and 490 rooms with fresh, innovative design and high quality modern equipment. The 1,200 square meters of conference space is divided into 11 meeting rooms and a giant ballroom; the perfect location for large events and conferences! • You speak fluent Dutch and English.

• You are available part‑time, for morning and evening shifts.

• You are accurate and able to handle stress well.

• You have experience in hospitality.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
