Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Groningen City Center is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, check-outs and inquiries.

You will handle reservations, support the breakfast service and help keep the lobby warm and tidy. Fluent Dutch and English are required; two years of hospitality experience are preferred; travel to work is easy.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospitality experience.
• Fluent Dutch and English; other languages a plus.
• Experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact for guests, assisting with check-ins, check-outs and questions.
• You share recommendations and offer to make reservations.
• You take calls and handle room reservation requests.
• You help guests with luggage and ensure a warm farewell.
• You support the breakfast service and assist in the lobby when needed.
• You maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Who Are You

• You always put the guest first.
• You are flexible, energetic and calm in any situation.
• You have experience as a receptionist; F&B experience is a plus.
• You work well independently and in a team.
• You are proactive, responsible and a real go-getter.
• Experience with reservation systems and first aid is an advantage.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• At least two years of hospitality experience.
• You can easily travel to work at all times.
