Job summary

Leonardo Hotels Benelux is seeking a Host for their Amsterdam Museum Quarter location. In this role, you will be the point of contact for guests, assisting with check-in, providing information, and ensuring a memorable stay.

We are looking for someone with a strong service-oriented attitude who is enthusiastic and accurate. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, while knowledge of additional languages is a plus. About The Job

Are you that person who always goes the extra mile? Does it fulfill you making people happy and do you know exactly how to make guests feel at home? And do you have a service-oriented attitude and mindset? Then you might be the new Host of Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Museum Quarter.

What Will You Be Doing

You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You’ll help guests check‑in and tell them which highlights they really shouldn’t miss. In the meantime, you get a call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. You will take care of that too. You notice that the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them immediately. You want to know how they experienced their time with us. They tell you that they will come back for a visit soon. That’s why you do it!

The Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Museum Quarter is located in the heart of the city, next to the Rijksmuseum. Ideal for a city trip or appointments in the city center. Everything is within walking distance. Top museums nearby are the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Heineken Experience. We are located in the Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat, home to major international fashion houses. For nightlife enthusiasts, Leidseplein is 500 metres from the hotel, with venues such as De Melkweg and Paradiso.

Job Requirements

• You are an energizing personality whose energy brings enthusiasm to everyone you work with.
• You enjoy working in a team, but working independently is also no problem for you.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. If you also speak (some) French, German, or Spanish, even better!
• You really put the guest first; you have a service-oriented attitude and a true hospitality mindset.
• You have a great sense of responsibility.
• You are available to work anywhere from 1 to 3 night shifts per week.
• You are enthusiastic and have strong communication skills.
• You are accurate and stress-resistant.
• You have experience in the hospitality sector.
