Job summary

CIC Rotterdam is seeking a true host who welcomes guests, builds rapport, and keeps the reception area welcoming. You will join the Rotterdam campus, report to the Manager Operations, and collaborate with an 11-person Community Team to ensure a smooth first impression.

Fluency in English and Dutch is required, and you must be able to commute to the Groot Handelsgebouw. This full-time, on-site role offers €2,750 gross per month, a commuting allowance, a private pension plan, and a wellness

Qualifications

• MBO or bachelor’s degree or equivalent front desk experience
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required
• Experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred
• Proficient with basic office software and equipment

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and clients, ensuring a warm first impression
• Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Coordinate with events and sales teams on room bookings and meetings
• Assist with mail and package processing and reception tasks
• Support operations and cross-train with the team
