Job summary

EW Facility Services is seeking a Hands-On Housekeeping Supervisor for The Lancaster in Amsterdam. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure rooms meet our quality standards, and assist with cleaning when needed. The role supports a positive guest experience through strong teamwork and hands-on supervision.

The position is 30–35 hours per week, with shifts likely between 11:00 and 19:00, including weekends. A proactive, flexible approach and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to organise daily work and maintain high cleaning standards.
• Confident guiding colleagues and communicating with the hotel.
• Hands-on, flexible and happy to help wherever needed.
• Fluent in English.
• Available for 30–35 hours per week, including weekends.
• Living in Amsterdam or nearby.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and assign tasks to the team.
• Check guest rooms to ensure quality standards.
• Support, guide and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Clean rooms personally when needed.
• Train new colleagues and help them feel welcome.
• Collaborate with the hotel to ensure a great guest experience.
