EW Facility Services in Amsterdam is seeking an Executive Housekeeping Manager to lead the complete housekeeping operation for a 4- or 5-star hotel. You will ensure top-quality standards, organize teams, and oversee daily operations with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong planning, quality control and excellent communication with staff and hotel management. Full-time position with possibility to extend a 7-month contract and opportunities for growth within EW.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Housekeeping Manager in 4- or 5-star hotels.
• Experience working for a professional cleaning company.
• Full-time availability with flexible hours and occasional weekend work.
• Strong planning, quality control and daily operations skills.
• Professional communication with employees and hotel management.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Residence in Amsterdam or nearby.

We offer

• Gross hourly wage from €19.12, depending on your experience
• Salary every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance according to EW conditions
• 8% holiday allowance and 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment and an extra day off on your birthday
• 7 months fulltime contract with intention to extend

Your job

As Executive Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for the complete housekeeping operation within the hotel. In a 4/5 star environment, guests expect a consistently high standard, so quality, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

Your responsibilities

• Managing, coaching and developing the housekeeping team
• Planning and organising the daily housekeeping operation
• Monitoring productivity, staffing and quality
• Performing quality checks on rooms and public areas
• Making sure the hotel meets the agreed cleaning and presentation standards
• Following up on complaints, operational issues and improvement points
• Working closely with hotel management and maintaining a professional client relationship
• Supporting supervisors in their daily work and development
• Making sure the department is properly staffed during busy periods
• Taking action when quality or operational results are below standard

Working hours

This is a full-time position.

You will normally work Monday to Friday, but flexibility is an important part of the role. Hotels are often busiest during weekends, so you may occasionally need to work one or two weekend days.

Your working schedule can also vary depending on the operation. Some days you may need to start early in the morning, while on other days you may need to be present later for quality checks or operational follow-up in the afternoon or evening.
