Job summary

EW Facility Services is hiring a Hands-On Housekeeping Supervisor for The Lancaster hotel in Amsterdam. You will ensure rooms are cleaned to our standards, guide a team, and assist in busy periods, including cleaning where needed.

You’ll coordinate daily tasks, train new colleagues, and collaborate with hotel management to deliver a superior guest experience. The role involves a 7‑month contract with a probation period and prospect of permanency.

Qualifications

• Experiences in hotel housekeeping, preferably with supervisory or team-leading responsibilities
• Able to organise the daily work and maintain high cleaning standards
• Confident guiding colleagues and communicating with the hotel
• Hands-on, flexible and happy to help wherever needed
• Fluent in English
• Available for 30-35 hours per week, including weekends
• Living in Amsterdam or nearby

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and assign tasks
• Check guest rooms meet quality standards
• Support, guide and motivate housekeeping colleagues
• Clean guest rooms when needed
• Train new colleagues and help them feel welcome
• Work closely with the hotel to ensure great guest experience
