Job summary

Vondel Venture Development in Amsterdam is seeking a hands-on Business Operations (BizOps) Manager to design, improve, and scale how the company operates across all departments. This role owns problems end-to-end—from diagnosing inefficiencies to implementing solutions and ensuring adoption.

You will work directly with leadership and teams to turn unclear workflows into simple, scalable systems, drive cross-team alignment, and build lightweight, repeatable processes that actual teams use.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to break down messy situations.
• Proven experience in operations, consulting, or similar roles.
• Ability to move from analysis → execution quickly.
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and functions.
• High ownership mindset and initiative without direction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose operational gaps across Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, etc.
• Design and implement practical, lightweight processes (SOPs, playbooks, workflows).
• Own execution and drive implementation across teams.
• Audit current tools and workflows and optimize internal communication.
• Introduce automation where it reduces manual work.
• Define and track simple metrics and dashboards for leadership visibility.
