Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the DevOps, delivery, and customer-support teams. You will translate strategic objectives into clear plans and priorities, and ensure delivery flows align with customer and business needs.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Commercial, and management, support initiatives, and help with hiring, onboarding and team development while scaling operational processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operations Management, DevOps Operations, or similar roles.
• Experience with planning, capacity management, and delivery coordination.
• Degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar is a plus but not required.
• Experience in tech companies like cybersecurity, fintech, or SaaS.
• Good understanding of Agile and software delivery processes.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Analytical skills and strong problem-solving.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Customer-focused with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational teams, including DevOps and Customer Support.
• Translating strategic objectives into clear plans and priorities.
• Managing planning, capacity, and delivery flow.
• Make sure priorities match customer and business needs.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Commercial, and management.
• Support customer-related initiatives and turn feedback into actions.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and team development when needed.
• Improve and scale operational processes across the organisation.
• Take over a set of operational responsibilities during maternity leave regarding: Coordinating internal support for customer implementations.
• Coordinating internal organization projects (for e.g. product / DevOps / Data science).
