Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a Host to be the first point of contact for guests and members, greeting people, answering calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will support the floor team to ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival through departure.

The role requires 1-2 years in a similar position, strong English/Dutch communication, and flexibility for opening or closing shifts. Experience with OpenTable, MICROS, and basic InDesign is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Reliable, representative, positive and enthusiastic
• Strong communication in English and Dutch
• Flexible to open and closing shifts
• Able to operate in high-volume phone environments
• Professional phone etiquette and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve as the first point of contact for members, guests and staff
• Answer high-volume calls and manage reservations for the House Kitchen
• Support the floor team to deliver seamless service from greeting to departure
