Job summary

Cecconi’s Amsterdam, part of the global Soho House brand, seeks a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests and manage reservations. You’ll handle calls, seat guests, and support the floor team to maintain seamless service and a polished guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in a similar role, strong English and Dutch, and comfort with OpenTable, MICROS, and basic InDesign skills. Flexible shifts and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar host or reception role.
• Experience handling high-volume phone lines and guest enquiries professionally.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Reliable, well-presented, positive, and enthusiastic.
• Experience with OpenTable and MICROS.
• Basic knowledge of InDesign.
• Flexible availability for both opening and closing shifts.
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and manage reservations and calls.
• Seat guests with care and assist the floor team to ensure smooth service.
• Answer inquiries efficiently and professionally from guests and members.
• Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere from arrival through departure.
