Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a Host to be one of the first points of contact for members, guests and staff, greeting guests, answering calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will deliver excellent service from the initial greeting and seating to supporting the floor team.

The role requires 1-2 years of experience, fluency in English and Dutch, and flexibility to work opening and closing shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Excellent English and Dutch communication.
• Experience handling high-volume phone lines.
• OpenTable and MICROS experience.
• Basic InDesign knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and staff as a Host.
• Answer incoming calls and create reservations for the House Kitchen.
• Seat guests and support the floor team to ensure smooth service.
• Provide excellent service from greeting to departure.

The Role

At Soho House a Hostis one of the first point of contacts for members guests and staff before being seated for their dining experience. As a Host, you are responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will also deliver excellent service from initial greeting and seating members and supporting with the floor team where needed. The Host, has acute organizational and people skills which often in infectious and promotes positive experience from the moment anyone arrives up until their departure.

What we are looking for

• Must have 1-2 years experience in a smilar role andanswering high-volume phone lines and answering inquiries professionally and timely
• Problem solving skills and bring conflict resolution
• Reliable, representative, positive and enthusiastic
• OpenTable and MICROS experience
• Basic InDesign knowledge
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch
• Strong preference for Full-time or Part-time (3/4 days at least) availiblity

• Salary: 2.511,89€ (above Horeca CAO) + 8% holiday allowance
