Job summary

Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire is seeking a friendly Front Office Employee to welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless stay.

As the first point of contact, you will handle guest inquiries by phone, assist with arrangements, and contribute to our Bloom Back Bonaire initiative while enjoying opportunities through the Delfins Academy. Bonaire, vibrant hospitality hub.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused attitude with a welcoming demeanor.
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with a smile
• Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures
• Providing pleasant and professional communication to all guests who contact the resort by phone
• Handling charges and processing payments for guests
• Performing common administrative and organizational tasks efficiently and accurately
• Following up on guest complaints and helping find suitable solutions
• Providing guests with advice and information about local attractions, restaurants, taxi arrangements, and more
• Monitoring office supply inventory and placing orders when needed

Skills

Hospitality mindset

Fluent in Dutch and English

Spanish or Papiamento is a plus

Customer service experience

Education

MBO/HBO education level
