Job summary

Robin Radar is seeking a Service Specialist & Planner to orchestrate planning, scheduling, and execution of global service operations for radar systems.

You will align site requirements, engineering resources, and logistics to ensure maintenance windows with minimal downtime, reporting to the Team Lead Service Operations. The role involves coordinating with customers, field engineers, and internal supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• BA, BSc, or HBO degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Technical Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years in technical planning, service coordination, dispatching, or operations within high-tech hardware.
• Hands-on experience with service management platforms and ERP or ticketing systems.
• Practical understanding of SLAs, service scope, and commercial contract structures.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Detail-oriented planner with strong multi-tasking under changing priorities.
• Proactive problem solver focused on continuous workflow improvements.
• Collaborative communicator comfortable aligning internal teams, sub-contractors, and site operators.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance planning and scheduling: Plan preventive maintenance, corrective visits, and system upgrades across global radar sites.
• Coordinate timelines with airport, wind farm, and facility managers to avoid service disruptions.
• Site preparation and readiness: Manage pre-visit workflows, safety compliance, and readiness checks.
• Logistics and parts coordination: Ensure spare parts and test gear arrive on schedule.
• Service records and documentation: Issue service bulletins, notices, and post-visit reports; track SLA compliance.
• Process and contract support: Refine runbooks and workflows; support reviews by clarifying service scope.
