Job summary

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform with global reach and offices in Amsterdam. The EME Tax Specialist will own operational and advisory work across employment tax, global mobility and employee equity, ensuring compliant payroll treatment as employees move across borders and participate in equity programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment tax, global mobility tax or payroll tax experience.
• Knowledge of multi-country payroll and shadow payroll processes.
• Experience applying tax rules to employee equity and cross-border cases.
• Ability to explain complex tax matters to non-specialists.
• Strong spreadsheet and data-analysis skills, including reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employment tax, mobility, benefits and equity events.
• Coordinate shadow-payroll inputs, calculations and reporting with payroll teams and external providers.
• Support tax and payroll workstreams for new-country launches and registrations.
• Maintain compliant tax treatment and payroll reporting for equity events.
• Track filing obligations, deadlines and risk items across jurisdictions, with clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People, Legal, Finance and advisers to implement processes.
• Create and maintain policies, process documentation and audit evidence.
• Review data controls for confidentiality and accuracy, identifying automation opportunities.
