Job summary

AEGIR-Marine is seeking a Service Coordinator in Wijk bij Duurstede, The Netherlands, to own the end-to-end handling of service requests worldwide. You will coordinate engineers, dispatch tasks, manage travel, and ensure accurate invoicing while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

You will participate in rotating weekend standby duties, supported by a competitive salary and generous vacation. Fluent English is required; Dutch language skills are not mandatory.

Qualifications

• MBO+ degree level thinking and working.
• Strong initiative, eagerness to learn, and willingness to grow responsibilities.
• Solid technical affinity; maritime industry knowledge is a major advantage.
• Strong phone presence: professional, clear communication with clients and engineers.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming service requests, dispatch senior Service Engineers, monitor field execution, and ensure accurate administrative and financial wrap-up.
• Create optimal engineer schedules, coordinate subcontractor support, and manage travel and safety logistics.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and Service Engineers, ensuring alignment with clear communication.
• Monitor budget execution and handle warranty or service claims; contribute to regional commercial success.
• Participate in rotating weekend stand-by schedule to handle emergencies, with compensation.
