Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to join Global Distribution EMEA, shaping our European distribution network and leading cross-functional projects to ensure on-time delivery with GDP compliance.

You will collaborate with Logistics Service Providers and Amgen stakeholders to optimize performance, drive process improvements, and maintain cold chain integrity across the network while supporting a diverse, international team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or supplier management.
• Experience with project management across departments and geographies; supplier improvement.
• Willingness to travel regularly to the Distribution Center in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supply, meet service levels, and stay within budget in a GDP compliant way.
• Lead relationships with Logistics Service Providers and coordinate with Amgen stakeholders including quality, supply chain and commercial.
• Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, escalations, reporting, and improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects from definition, through implementation and handover, managing scope, milestones, risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on an appropriate management level.
• Develop, select and implement cold chain solutions in the Amgen Supply chain.
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen service, quality, productivity and cost performance across Hub Operations.
• Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.
