Senior Coordinator - Distribution Europe
As a Senior Coordinator – Distribution, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless and compliant distribution operations across Europe. You will oversee the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash process, manage customer master data throughout its lifecycle, and act as the main liaison between logistics partners and internal stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Oversee and coordinate Order‑to‑Cash operations, including order processing, deliveries, pricing, tenders, invoicing, and dunning.
- Manage the full lifecycle of customer master data: creation, validation, maintenance, revalidation, and deactivation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for third‑party logistics (3PLs) and internal stakeholders, providing timely information and resolving distribution‑related issues.
- Monitor allocations, quotas, suspicious orders, and shortage risks, while processing credit and debit notes as required.
- Support GDP compliance by logging distribution incidents, initiating quality deviations, and maintaining SOPs and work instructions.
- Assist in operational readiness for new country launches, new product introductions, and new distribution models.
- Participate in system enhancements, standardization, and process optimization initiatives to improve lead times, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
- Contribute to SLA management and performance reviews with logistics providers to ensure service level targets are met.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in pharmaceutical distribution operations.
- Proficient in SAP SD/MM and EDI systems; Veeva experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of GDP and temperature‑controlled shipments (ambient and cold chain).
- Strong English language skills; additional European language is advantageous.
- Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, solution‑focused, and customer‑centric.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple tasks and collaborating across internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
