Job summary

DHL eCommerce (Netherlands) B.V. in Utrecht is seeking a Payroll Administration Specialist to administer payroll processes and ensure accurate employee payments, compliance, and timely service.

You will handle salary payments, benefits, taxes, and deductions, and support employees with payroll inquiries in a fast-paced global business services environment. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years’ payroll experience, fluent Dutch and English, and familiarity with HRIS and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, finance, or accounting.
• HR or payroll certification is an advantage.
• Fluent Dutch and English.
• 2+ years of payroll administration or related HR experience.
• Good understanding of payroll processes, taxation, compliance requirements, and HR operations.
• Experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and SAP is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to identify issues and escalate when needed.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain payroll topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll processes accurately within timelines.
• Process salary payments, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Calculate overtime, allowances, bonuses, and other payments.
• Review data for errors and escalate complex cases.
• Support team with payroll-related inquiries.
• Maintain payroll records and compliant documentation.
• Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and government authorities.
• Collect and verify payroll-related data for accuracy.
• Respond to payroll inquiries professionally and timely.
• Collaborate with HR and other functions to support payroll.
