Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Operations Agent Hi-Tech to join our global freight forwarding team. You will manage quotes, tracking & tracing, vendor relations, and high-level customer service for a Global Key Account.

The role requires 3–5 years in freight forwarding (airfreight preferred), fluency in English, and familiarity with Cargo Wise. You will ensure compliance with ITAR, Dangerous Goods regulations, and SLAs while coordinating multi-modal shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in freight forwarding, ideally Airfreight.
• Fluent oral and written English; additional European languages would be an asset.
• Cargo Wise Software experience is a plus.
• ITAR, Dangerous Goods or TSA knowledge/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services across all modes to global key accounts, including quotes and invoicing.
• Serve as primary contact for designated customers and manage project outcomes.
• Track shipments daily and update status codes in AIT systems.
• Quote and route freight domestically and internationally.
• Support local sales and other offices with freight issues.
• Ensure compliance with SLA, KPI and SOP guidelines; manage documentation.
