Job summary

PROBAT, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Team Lead Field Service to manage and coordinate field service activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead up to 20 engineers, align with Sales, Project Management and Engineering, and drive improvements in processes and service delivery.

You will monitor progress, prepare work scopes, review service reports, and foster a customer-focused, safety-conscious team culture while developing staff through coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree HBO level is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including team leadership.
• Experience in a service-oriented, technical, or industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of HSE, Arbo and safety regulations in industrial/field service environments.
• VCA-VOL certification (or willing to obtain).
• Experience with work preparation and service execution in an international field service environment.
• Strong organizational skills and solid business insight.
• Experience with ERP systems (Ridder IQ preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
• Resilient and able to switch between tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all field service activities.
• Monitor progress, planning, quality and safety of service assignments.
• Ensure proper work preparation, including scope definition and resource planning.
• Safeguard HSE compliance, including safety documentation and permits.
• Lead toolbox meetings to promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Review service reports for technical content and completeness.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
• Ensure efficient use of people, materials and resources.
• Align daily with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering.
• Coach and develop the service team.
• Foster customer-focused, safety-conscious and professional work practices.
• Analyze service performance and initiate improvements.
