Job summary

Tetra Pak is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead our field service team in the Netherlands, ensuring high-quality maintenance, upgrades, installations and troubleshooting for customers.

You will lead a team of about 10–12 service engineers, report to the Customer Service Operations Director France & Benelux, and collaborate with planners, account managers and technical specialists to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English is required.
• Technical or engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in food processing, packaging or related industries is advantageous.
• Proven experience in service operations and field service management.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including remote employees.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with practical problem solving.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 50%) within the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of approximately 10–12 Field Service Engineers.
• Support competence development and ensure resource readiness for current and future customer needs.
• Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and according to quality standards.
• Drive customer satisfaction through service performance and issue resolution.
• Support engineers in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with customers and account teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with planning functions to optimize resource utilization and service delivery.
• Drive employee engagement, performance and operational excellence.
• Monitor departmental performance, utilization and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and HR processes.
