Job summary

DO IT Organic Food Ingredients B.V. is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Assistant to coordinate customer orders, respond to inquiries and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will work with customers across different markets and a broad product portfolio, joining a six-person international team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with standard office hours from 9:00 to 17:00.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments.
• Experience in customer service, sales support or commercial administration.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Able to prioritise, stay organised and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook and order management systems; e-commerce platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and confirm customer orders received through email, webshop and internal systems.
• Ensure orders are executed according to commercial agreements, customer requirements and internal logistics processes.
• Coordinate with logistics and other departments to ensure a smooth order flow.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Support customers with documentation, credit notes and administrative requests.
• Identify potential issues and proactively contribute to solutions.
• Help improve processes, communication and customer satisfaction.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
• Support commercial activities and help strengthen collaboration between Customer Service and Sales.
