Job summary

Robin is seeking a Certification and Compliance Engineer to drive pre-compliance activities, manage external labs and regulators, and plan global market access for radar products. You will tailor requirements, oversee certifications, and maintain certificates as laws evolve, while translating regulations into actionable engineering guidance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with test houses, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure robust compliance for US/NA and international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a similar technical field.
• Proven experience managing relationships with external labs, regulators, or engineering consultants.
• Solid background in Environmental, Safety, or Radio testing.
• Extensive experience with NRTL/UL and North American electrical safety standards or FCC knowledge.
• Excellent English communication; translate norms into actionable advice.

Responsibilities

• Identify compliance requirements during the project conceptual phase and tailor test profiles for military/environmental profiles.
• Act as primary liaison with external partners, including accredited test laboratories and regulators.
• Plan and oversee certification paths with foreign regulatory agencies and military customers to gain global market access.
• Keep product certificates up-to-date with evolving laws, regulations, and product updates.
• Compose and update test plans for approvals (STANAG, CE, FCC, NRTL) and generate safety assessments.
• Mature internal pre-compliance test capabilities to reduce risk before external testing.
