Job summary

Robin Radar is seeking a Legal & Compliance Director to shape the global strategy ensuring compliant growth of our radar technology worldwide. You will advise the CFO, Management Team and Board on negotiations, regulatory expansion, and risk mitigation across defense and civil aviation markets.

You will lead international contracts, export controls and ISO/compliance programs, while developing governance across US operations and global entities.

Qualifications

• LL.M. degree in International, Commercial, or Corporate Law.
• 10+ years of progressive legal and compliance leadership experience.
• Background in high-tech, aerospace, defense, dual-use technology, or complex B2B sectors.
• Proven expertise structuring high-value international contracts, tender responses, and defense terms.
• Strong track record managing EU dual-use and US ITAR/EAR export control regimes.
• Solid knowledge of corporate legal operations, ISO standards, and health and safety frameworks.
• Excellent communicator with strong executive presence and experience advising C-suite leaders.
• Commercial mindset that enables business while managing global risk.
• Willing to travel up to 10% to strategic partners and expansion sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal strategy and high-stakes contract negotiations for international sales, government tenders, and strategic partner agreements.
• Oversee international trade frameworks across EU, US (ITAR/EAR), and global export control regimes.
• Drive internal governance frameworks and support compliance across ISO standards; manage corporate entities including US operations.
• Identify operational risks globally while safeguarding IP and technology assets; direct external counsel and oversee regulatory audits.
• Advise CFO, Management Team, and Board on negotiations, liability, and changing regulations; mentor legal/compliance teams.
