Job summary

Holmen in Amsterdam is seeking a full-time Customer Service representative for the DACH team. You will handle daily inquiries, orders, and invoicing, while supporting internal sales and coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires German near-native and English professional proficiency, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and an office-based arrangement in the Netherlands. You will work in a multicultural environment and contribute to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• German language proficiency required (near native) and English at a professional level.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with customer order handling, invoicing and servicing customers.
• Strong communication, both written and verbal, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in an office-based environment in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily customer inquiries, order processing and invoicing for the DACH team.
• Follow up on lead-time quotations, pricing quotations, trials and sample deliveries.
• Provide internal sales support to colleagues and customers.
• Handle requests for call-offs to enable delivery and stock maintenance.
• Contribute to weekly KPI meetings addressing credit, stock, admin claims and overdues.
• Review accounts monthly with external sales to discuss customers and KPI progress.
• Assist in customer payments follow-up and cross-department collaboration (Sales, Technical Service, Production, Transport Planning).
