COREcruitment Ltd in Amsterdam is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across multiple entities within its German Shared Services team. This hands-on leadership role delivers accurate, compliant payroll services while guiding a small team in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance, ensure German payroll regulations are met, and drive process improvements, testing, and documentation. German and English fluency required; SAP Payroll experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' experience in German payroll.
• Strong knowledge of German payroll legislation, tax and social security.
• Experience in a shared services or multi-entity environment is beneficial.
• Fluent German and English are essential.
• Leadership experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple entities.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of three payroll professionals.
• Ensure compliance with German payroll, tax, and social security regulations.
• Oversee payroll systems, reporting, audits, and quality controls.
• Partner with HR, Finance, auditors, and external payroll providers.
• Drive payroll process improvements, standardisation, and automation.
• Support payroll system testing, documentation, and user training.
