Job summary

People2.0, a global leader in workforce solutions, is seeking a Payroll Team Leader based in Amsterdam with hybrid work arrangement. You will lead a payroll team delivering accurate, timely Netherlands payrolls while ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.

You will coach and develop your team, manage workloads, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in payroll processes in collaboration with Finance and IT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• End-to-end payroll experience for the Netherlands.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Experience in the staffing/consulting industry is preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements.
• Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing payroll team; manage workload and performance.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll delivery for the Netherlands.
• Set objectives and KPIs; drive performance.
• Develop and maintain payroll policies and controls in line with legislation.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement updates.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to streamline processes.
• Provide training and coaching; ensure documentation is up to date.
• Promote continuous improvement within the team.
• Lead implementation of new payroll systems and enhancements.
