Job summary

Sia is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build GenAI applications (agents, RAG pipelines, copilots) and drive adoption with client teams. You will work at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and delivery across projects.

You will prototype with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and pgvector, connect to APIs, and help scale solutions in production. Hybrid work from Amsterdam with a strong learning budget and partner certifications.

Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science, AI, or related field.
1–2 years of prior experience with LLMs or projects.
Proficient in Python with ability to read client stacks.
Experience calling APIs and integrating systems.
Willingness to learn and grow in an AI practice.

Responsibilities

Spend time on client sites with a senior Forward Deployed Engineer.
Scope and build LLM-based solutions (RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, workflow automation).
Connect solutions to existing systems (APIs, databases, business tools).
Apply data protection and AI regulation requirements (GDPR, EU AI Act).
Support user adoption: documentation and training; collect feedback.
Measure performance and suggest improvements to senior colleagues.
Share progress in updates to technical and business audiences.
