Business Rules, Automation & SAP HCM Decommissioning
We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Functional/Technical Consultant to support the decommissioning of our legacy SAP HCM environment.
The consultant will be responsible for identifying business logic and intelligence that currently resides within the integration layer between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM, and redesigning and implementing this logic natively within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central wherever possible.
The current integration contains significant business and technical logic, including data validation, data enrichment, derivations, transformations, defaulting, format checks, conditional processing and other automation rules. As SAP HCM is being decommissioned, this intelligence needs to be analysed, rationalised and rebuilt within the future SuccessFactors architecture.
The role therefore requires a strong combination of HR process knowledge, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central functional expertise and hands‑on technical/configuration capabilities.
Determine where the identified business logic should reside in the future architecture, with a strong preference for implementing HR business logic natively within SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central rather than recreating unnecessary integration complexity.
Design solutions using appropriate SuccessFactors capabilities, including:
