Job summary

Gazelle Global in Schiphol-Rijk zoekt een ervaren Functioneel Applicatie Manager om bedrijfsprocessen te ondersteunen en applicaties continu te verbeteren. U fungeert als schakel tussen business gebruikers, IT-teams, Product Owners en leveranciers, coordineert incidenten en changes en bewaakt documentatie en communicatie richting eindgebruikers. De rol vereist sterke analytische vaardigheden, servicegerichtheid en goede communicatie in Nederlands en Engels.

Qualifications

• HBO werk- en denkniveau.
• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring binnen een Agile/Scrum-omgeving.
• Ervaring in Functioneel Applicatiebeheer of een vergelijkbare rol.
• Goede kennis van Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Beheer en onderhoud van een of meerdere bedrijfskritische applicaties en services.
• Zorg voor continuïteit, stabiliteit en prestaties van applicaties.
• Functie als schakel tussen gebruikers, IT-teams en externe leveranciers.
• Coördineer incidenten, problemen en changes.
• Haal functionele requirements en vertaal naar changes en oplossingen.
• Werk nauw samen met Product Owners, Service Managers, Scrum Masters en Agile-teams.
• Onderhoud functionele en technische documentatie.
• Ondersteun releases, applicatiechanges en serviceverbeteringen.
• Draag bij aan communicatie richting eindgebruikers en klanten.
• Identificeer verbeterkansen in applicaties en processen.
• Prioriteer workload en manage stakeholders.

Functional Application Manager - Commercial Technology

Location: Schiphol area
Hours: 36 hours per week
Start: ASAP
Contract: Until 30 June 2027
Employment: Payroll / detachment only - no ZZP
Language: Dutch & English
Education: HBO level

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Functional Application Manager to support a range of business-critical digital services within a large commercial environment.

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving applications that support key commercial business processes. You will act as the link between business users, IT teams, Product Owners, Service Managers and external suppliers.

This role suits someone who is service-oriented, technically strong and comfortable coordinating incidents, changes and continuous improvements across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain one or more business-critical applications and services.

• Ensure continuity, stability and performance of applications.

• Act as the key contact between users, IT teams and external suppliers.

• Coordinate incidents, problems and change requests.

• Translate functional requirements into clear change requests and solutions.

• Work closely with Product Owners, Service Managers, Scrum Masters and Agile teams.

• Maintain functional and technical documentation.

• Support releases, application changes and service improvements.

• Assist with communication towards end users and customers.

• Identify opportunities to improve applications, processes and service delivery.

• Prioritise workload effectively and manage stakeholder expectations.

Requirements

• HBO working and thinking level.

• Minimum 3 years of experience within an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Experience in Functional Application Management or a similar role.

• Good knowledge of Service Management.

• Experience with DevOps and Service Management tooling.

• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

• Experience coordinating incidents and changes across multiple teams.

• Proactive, service-oriented and solution-focused.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
