Overview

For a large, stable organization operating in a socially relevant domain, we are looking for a Functional Application Manager to strengthen the internal IT landscape. The role sits close to the business and focuses on keeping core applications reliable, understandable, and usable for daily operations.

Location: South Netherlands | Hybrid

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Salary range: €5,500 gross per month (based on 40h)

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for business users regarding functional questions and incidents
• Analyze user needs and translate them into functional requirements
• Coordinate changes, improvements, and releases with IT teams and vendors
• Monitor application performance, data quality, and continuity
• Document processes, configurations, and functional designs
• Support testing and acceptance of new functionality

What the organization is looking for

• Level of Dutch: fluent or native
• +3 years of Experience in a functional beheer / application management role
• Strong understanding of business processes and how IT supports them
• Comfortable working with ERP or business-critical systems
• Able to communicate clearly with both non-technical users and IT specialists
• Structured way of working; documentation matters
• Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments is a plus
