Job summary

Van der Helm Logistics zoekt een Fulfillment Consultant die de verbinding is tussen klant, magazijn en transport. Je beheert meerdere klanten in Electronics/IT en bewaakt het logistieke proces van begin tot eind.

Dagelijks contact met klanten, magazijn en logistieke partners. Je werkt op locatie Den Hoorn en Moerdijk, met werktijden 8:30–17:00 en een salaris vanaf 2700 brutomaand.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau van professioneel en intellectueel vermogen.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels both schriftelijk en mondelijk.
• Vaardig met Microsoft Office 365.
• Ervaring met een WMS is gewenst.
• Ervaring in logistiek of fulfilment is een plus.
• Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en proactief.
• Rijbewijs B is vereist.

Responsibilities

• Hoofdcontactpersoon voor klant(en) op korte en lange termijn.
• Coördineren van inkomende en uitgaande orders.
• Coördineren met magazijn over orders, planning en inventaris.
• Organiseren en toezicht houden op nationale en internationale zendingen.
• Verwerken van orders, zendingen en voorraadgegevens in het WMS.
• Documenten opstellen en beheren voor interne en externe logistieke processen.
• Voorbereiden van klant- en interne rapportages.
• Factureren van voltooide orders.
• Verschillen identificeren en proactief naar oplossingen zoeken.

Job description

Your own clients, international logistics, and a high level of responsibility. As a Fulfillment Consultant at Van der Helm Logistics, you are the link between the client, warehouse, and transport.

We are looking for a customer-oriented and proactive Fulfillment Consultant for our Fulfillment team. You will be responsible for one or more clients within the Electronics/IT sector, ensuring their logistics processes run smoothly from start to finish.

You will have daily contact with clients, colleagues in the warehouse, and various logistics partners. From incoming orders and inventory management to international shipments: you maintain the overview and ensure everything comes together at the right time.

Location: Den Hoorn for the coming months, Moerdijk after our relocation
Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: from €2,700 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience

What Will You Do?

As a Fulfillment Consultant, you are the primary point of contact for your client(s). You know their logistics processes, understand what is going on, and ensure that agreements are met.

You work closely with the warehouse, carriers, and other parties within the logistics chain. You are given a lot of freedom and responsibility to organize your work independently.

Your duties include:

• Maintaining contact with clients at home and abroad;
• Coordinating incoming and outgoing orders;
• Coordinating with the warehouse regarding orders, planning, and inventory;
• Organizing and overseeing national and international shipments;
• Processing orders, shipments, and inventory data in the WMS;
• Creating and managing files;
• Providing documentation for internal and external logistics processes;
• Preparing client and internal reports;
• Invoicing completed orders;
• Identifying discrepancies and proactively seeking solutions.

In short: you ensure that your clients can count on Van der Helm.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and can easily switch gears between different tasks and contacts. You work accurately, maintain an overview, and enjoy solving problems before they become issues for the client.

In addition:

• You have an MBO level of professional and intellectual ability;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office 365;
• Experience with a WMS is preferred;
• Experience in logistics, fulfillment, or a similar role is a plus;
• You are independent, accurate, and proactive;
• You have good communication skills;
• You are flexible when the work or client requires it;
• You have a valid driver's license (Category B).

Working in a fulfillment team

You will join a Fulfillment team of approximately 11 colleagues, divided between Den Hoorn and Moerdijk.

When you start, you will be trained on the job by an experienced colleague. You will participate in daily activities and learn about our clients, systems, and logistics processes step by step. This way, you will gain more responsibility and eventually be able to serve your own clients independently.
