Job summary

The Social Hub in Rotterdam seeks a Front Office Host to greet guests warmly, manage check-ins, payments and kiosk navigation, and help guests enjoy a lively lobby atmosphere. You’ll share local tips, connect guests to events and experiences, and assist with activity bookings, all while maintaining a welcoming, energetic presence.

You should bring 1–3 years in hospitality, strong English/Dutch communication, a proactive mindset, and comfort with PMS/kiosks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in hospitality or a guest-facing role.
• Energetic, welcoming vibe that makes guests feel at home.
• Strong ability to switch between tasks while keeping a smile.
• Proactive mindset and ability to turn small moments into memorable experiences.
• Comfortable with digital tools like PMS, kiosks or guest messaging apps.
• Clear English and Dutch communication.
• Team player who stays calm during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and set a great first impression.
• Assist with check-ins, payments and kiosk navigation.
• Keep the lobby tidy, inviting and energetic.
• Offer local recommendations and connect guests to events and experiences.
• Handle bookings for activities and restaurant experiences.
• Share guest insights and feedback with the team to improve stays.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B and Maintenance to run smoothly.
• Promote outlets and identify upsell opportunities.
