Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Front of House Manager to supervise the Front Office Team and ensure guests receive an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

You will aid in maintaining high standards, supporting VIP guests, upselling hotel services, and collaborating with other departments. A background in luxury hotels and strong leadership and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in Front of House within the hotel business.
• Experience in Luxury Hotels is preferred.
• High level of IT proficiency.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front of House Manager to oversee the entire Front of House operation to maintain high standards.
• Assist the Front of House Manager to evaluate guest satisfaction and monitor trends.
• Ensure regular and VIP guests are recognised and that the Front of House operates with a sales attitude.
• Maximise room occupancy at best rates and promote services.
• Assist with setting objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures.
• Monitor appearance and performance of Front of House team and training needs.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel products, services, and local area policies.
• Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support recruitment, training and development of Front of House staff.
