Job summary

MSF OCA/ Netherlands seeks a Case Officer (French speaker) based in Amsterdam to manage, investigate and advise on CoC-related complaints with a survivor-centred approach.

The role requires fluency in English and French, a law- or social science-related degree, and 5+ years of investigation experience in humanitarian or health contexts. Hybrid work is available in Amsterdam with substantial travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
• 5+ years of investigations experience in humanitarian/health contexts preferred.
• Experience handling sexual exploitation/abuse/harassment investigations is desirable.
• Ability to work independently in high-risk environments.
• Commitment to confidentiality and survivor-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into Code of Conduct-related complaints, including high-risk cases.
• Provide survivor-centred first responses and risk assessment for complainants.
• Plan and lead investigations with minimal operational impact and ensure policy compliance.
• Advise on complaint management strategies to senior management.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Duty of Care and other units for case intake and referrals.
• Monitor incidents, analyse trends, and produce management reports.
