Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeking a Case Officer (French speaker) based in Amsterdam to lead safeguarding investigations and advise on conduct cases in country programmes.

Fluency in French and English is required, with 5+ years of investigations experience. The role reports to the Case Manager and emphasizes survivor-centered practice, confidentiality, and high-risk case handling.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• 5+ years’ proven experience in investigations.
• Experience in high‑risk humanitarian contexts is highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Lead investigations into Code of Conduct-related complaints, including high-risk cases.
• Provide empathetic first responses to complainants and assess risk.
• Plan and lead investigations with minimal operational impact.
• Advise country programme management on complaint management strategies.
• Handle sensitive stakeholder communications and safeguard confidential evidence.
• Monitor safeguarding incidents, analyse trends and produce reports.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR and Duty of Care on case intake and referrals.
