Job summary

People & Products is assisting an international, fast-growing B2B SaaS company to hire an Interim Group Product Manager – Replatforming. You will lead efforts to modernize architecture, reduce legacy fragmentation, and accelerate delivery.

You will work in a non-hierarchical leadership capacity with product, engineering and other stakeholders to create a clear product vision, drive rapid iteration, and enable faster releases with 0→1 initiatives and data/AI-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as (interim) GPM, Head of Product, Director of Product or similar in B2B SaaS, ideally with data platforms or data products.
• Strong track record in tech and platform product management, with 0→1 experience and the drive to move technical teams from execution-only toward ownership and entrepreneurship.
• Comfortable operating without formal hierarchical authority, able to drive change and fast decision-making, including at leadership level.
• Affinity with agentic AI in product/software development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define sharpened product vision and target architecture direction for the platform domain, with a strong focus on data & AI.
• Drive immediate legacy decommissioning bottlenecks with fast, decisive execution.
• Work closely with product managers, engineering and other key stakeholders, operating in a functional (not hierarchical) leadership capacity, building trust and taking ownership within the first weeks of engagement.
• Translate strategy into concrete, measurable business impact, including a substantial increase in feature velocity and freed-up engineering capacity.
• Contribute to the wider transformation of tech and help shape a high-performing leadership team.
• Push the boundaries of what's possible with agentic AI across product and software development.

We have been exclusively engaged by our client, an international, fast-growing B2B SaaS company, to hire an interim Group Product Manager Replatforming.

The situation

To unlock their next phase of growth, our client is taking decisive steps to modernize its architecture and streamline its tech stack. A fragmented technical landscape currently absorbs critical engineering capacity and impacts overall release speed. Leadership is fully committed to fundamental change: establishing a sharp product vision, accelerating decision-making, and shifting from multi-quarter initiatives to continuous iteration and rapid experimentation.

Your area

You will drive the decommissioning of legacy systems to improve tech velocity, helping the organization move from complex, infrequent releases toward smaller, more continuous delivery. Your focus will be on enabling teams to develop and release faster, deliver results sooner, build 0-1, and assess and reshape the product vision & strategy for your domain.

What we're looking for

• Comfortable operating without formal hierarchical authority, able to drive change and fast decision-making, including at leadership level.
• Affinity with agentic AI in product/software development is a plus.
• Available for a 6–12 month interim engagement, working remotely from NL, with periodic travel to European hubs.
• Availability of 40 hours p/week, starting latest in October.
• You are based in the Netherlands and already work as a freelancer/contractor (ZZP'er or through your own BV).
