Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own AI-powered product roadmaps and drive adoption across teams. You’ll work directly with end users, shape strategy, and partner with engineering, analysis, and senior stakeholders in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, Netherlands.

The role requires 5+ years in Product Management, a track record of end-to-end product ownership, and strong stakeholder skills. Fluency in English and conversational Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Proven ownership of a product from strategy through go-live.
• Strong product judgement and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building AI-enabled products beyond basic AI features.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to business users and vice versa.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping ways of working in a growing product org.
• Fluent English and conversational Dutch preferred.

We're partnering with a fast-growing European organisation undergoing a major AI transformation. With significant investment being directed into agentic AI, this is an opportunity to own a product domain from strategy through delivery and help redefine how highly skilled professionals work.

Rather than building experimental AI features, you'll be responsible for products already being adopted by real users and shaping the next generation of intelligent agents that automate complex workflows, improve decision-making, and ultimately transform how operational work gets done.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work directly with end users, influence business strategy, and own product decisions end-to-end.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the road-map for a portfolio of AI-powered products and workflows.
• Define priorities, make trade-off decisions, and guide investment across your product domain.
• Partner closely with engineering, business analysis, change management, and senior stakeholders.
• Spend regular time with users to understand challenges, validate opportunities, and drive adoption.
• Lead discovery, product strategy, delivery, roll-out, and continuous optimisation.
• Help introduce agentic AI solutions into existing workflows while preparing for more autonomous AI-driven processes in the future.
• Make release and risk decisions, balancing innovation with quality and compliance requirements.
• Manage external technology partners and product budgets where required.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Proven ownership of a product that was launched, adopted by users, and remained under your responsibility after go-live.
• Strong product judgement and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building AI-enabled products or solutions beyond basic chat-bot usage.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to business users and business problems to technical teams.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping shape ways of working within a growing product organisation.
• Fluent English and conversational Dutch preferred.
