Job summary

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is seeking a Finance Trainee (Internship) starting July 2026 to gain hands-on experience in hospitality finance within a hotel environment. You will support accounts receivable, accounts payable and general cashier tasks, learn reconciliation and financial processes, and develop a personal development plan with increasing responsibilities.

The role includes a monthly trainee allowance and access to Hyatt's global training network, plus free meals and other onsite

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelor program in the Netherlands.
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands.
• Fluent in English (Dutch preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting Clerk in accounts receivable, payable & general cashier.
• Assist in following up AR/AP invoices and ensure accuracy of debits/credits posted to AR/GL.
• Assist in solving discrepancies found in reconciliation.
• Personal development plan to adjust responsibilities based on interests.

Are you interested in numbers, organization, and learning how finance works in a hotel environment? This Finance Trainee (Internship) is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in hospitality finance.

Responsibilities

• You will assist the Accounting Clerk in accounts receivable, payable & general cashier;


• You will assist in following up on AR and AP invoices and ensure the accuracy of all debits and credits posted to AR and GL accounts;


• You will assist in solving any discrepancies found in reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelor program in the Netherlands (e.g. Hotel Management, Facility Management, Tourism & Leisure Management)
