Job summary

Hotelprofessionals is seeking a Finance Intern in Amsterdam. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand hotel operations and finance through practical experience within a dynamic team.

The intern will assist the finance team and be responsible for accounts receivables, helping with month-end reporting. A monthly allowance of EUR 750, meal per shift, and access to various training opportunities enhance the experience. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be available for five months or longer.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.
• Fluent in English, ideally also in Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance team with their day‑to‑day activities, such as processing workflow analysis and optimization, assisting with month‑end financial reports and auditing department budget‑to‑actual expenses.
• Work on finance related projects.
• Work in a dynamic team.
• Be responsible for Accounts Receivables: sending invoices to third party companies and suppliers.
• Be knowledgeable about all financial systems: Opera, IScala, Micros and Birchstreet.
