Job summary

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience in the finance department. The intern will handle accounts receivable, learn financial systems, and tackle challenges to enhance efficiency. Candidates should be currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Finance degree, detail-oriented, and legally eligible to work in the Netherlands. The position offers valuable international experience and personal development opportunities while being part of a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Finance related degree.
• Hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic.
• Detail-oriented, approachable, and not afraid to make decisions.
• Very communicative in English and preferably in Dutch.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch Institution.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the daily activities of the finance team.
• Be responsible for Accounts Receivable (sending invoices).
• Learn about financial systems: Opera, IScala, Micros, Birchstreet.
• Tackle challenges to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with all operational departments.
