Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and optimize Stunning, Scalding and Defeathering systems. You will ensure animal welfare compliance and achieve uptime, quality and yield across primary processing lines.

You will travel internationally ~60%, lead start-ups, perform root-cause analysis and provide customer training on machine setup and maintenance, while collaborating with production management and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong process awareness and understanding of ethical/regulatory impact.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of complex machinery.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel internationally (~60%).

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning and optimization of Stunning and Defeathering systems.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards and process parameters.
• Provide structured reporting and feedback to engineering.
• Train customers on machine setup, welfare compliance and preventive maintenance.
• Assist customers with process improvements and upgrades.
