Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical support and collaborate with regional teams. You will be the reference for technical questions and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

You will solve cases remotely, advise internal stakeholders, update base information, and contribute to service documentation. A strong engineering background and fluent English are required, with field service or technical support experience preferred.

Qualifications

Educational background in mechatronics or related engineering fields.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment and control systems.
Proactive with analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience in field service or technical support preferred.

Responsibilities

Solve cases online/remotely and/or decide on follow-up actions per escalation.
Advise and inform internal stakeholders on technical solutions and case status.
Ensure field service debriefings are processed and Customer Support is informed on follow up actions.
Update and/or register machine information in Installed Base Management system.
Identify technical improvements which can be used for potential commercial opportunities.
Create and maintain service documentation (Service Info, Service Letter and Service Notice).
Monitor, evaluate and coordinate reported technical feedback and identify structural issues.
Be the central point for supporting knowledge build up in the regions and the industry/product group.
