Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a team of 15–20 Field Service Engineers in the Netherlands and the EU. You will build, develop and manage the team, ensuring planned installations, service and repairs are delivered on time and within budget.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will mentor engineers, drive performance reviews, recruit talent and align with product, maintenance and innovation teams to meet market needs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a field service or technical team.
• Experience in managing 15–20 engineers in multi-site environments is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information to plan installations, services, or repairs.
• Identify and develop future talent; manage succession and growth of the team.
• Mentor staff and conduct regular performance reviews with next-in-line leaders.
• Initiate personnel actions (hires, promotions, transfers, discharges) when required.
• Ensure maintenance, repairs, and projects are delivered on time and within budget; report as designed.
• Promote Health & Safety trainings and ensure safe working on Marel machinery.
