Clink Hostels Ltd at ClinkNOORD is seeking a Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations and create memorable guest experiences. You’ll supervise shifts, supervise staff, and uphold service standards in a design-led hostel known for events and community.

The role focuses on hospitality excellence, staff coaching, and active involvement in events, food & beverage, and guest relations to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standout service with a warm, friendly and authentic approach to guests across all front-of-house departments.
• Lead shifts as MOD (Manager on Duty), taking ownership for safety and clear guest/staff communication.
• Maintain high service standards and coordinate cross-training for the team.
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to and confidently serve all products; assist with training and QC.
• Coach and mentor the team; act as first point of contact for day-to-day issue management.
• Organise daily tasks, coordinate breaks, and ensure a host is on the floor to welcome guests.
• Be the on-shift point of contact to answer guest or team questions and ensure smooth operations.
• Foster a positive atmosphere with open communication and good inter-department relations.
• Assist management with training new and existing staff and with developing hostel procedures.
• Actively upsell in-house offerings to maximise guest experience and revenue across bars and cafés.
• Keep F&B areas stocked, clean, and ready for service across bar, cafe, and service stations.
• Drive sales through table service and add-on recommendations during guest interactions.
• Create a lively, welcoming hostel vibe and encourage guest engagement in social spaces.
• Support events and assist with driving bar revenue during busy periods.
