Job summary

Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam is seeking a proactive Manager Restaurant to lead daily service operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll set grooming standards, drive high service levels, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a positive team environment.

You will collaborate with F&B outlets, supervise staff, manage reservations, and uphold HACCP standards. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to daily

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/restaurant management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP regulations.
• Experience with cash handling and end-of-day processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily service operations, including events and reservations.
• Monitor sick leave procedures to ensure staffing and continuity.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety per HACCP.
• Supervise, support and motivate the team; ensure daily checklists are completed.
• Manage cash handling procedures and end-of-day financial processes using Micros.
• Oversee the Formitable reservation system for accurate guest management.
• Conduct daily team briefings and communicate updates, goals and priorities.
• Coordinate shift handovers with Shift Leaders and Managers for seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and share best practices.
• Coach and develop team members to grow within the business.
