Job summary

The Hoxton Amsterdam is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and elevate all F&B outlets, events space and the guest experience. You will report to the General Manager, own the P&L, and drive commercial initiatives across bar, restaurant and lobby.

You will recruit and mentor a high-energy team, coordinate with head chef and department heads, and shape the product identity while ensuring operational excellence and consistent hospitality across the property.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food & beverage management or director role in a high-paced, commercial environment.
• Multi-outlet budgeting and forecasting experience with understanding of financial expectations for a restaurant and bar business.
• Senior leadership experience—able to represent Operations in property-wide strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and mentoring heads of departments.
• Proven track record leading large teams in restaurants, kitchen and bars with ability to inspire trust and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train and develop a dynamic team across multiple F&B outlets, including events space, upholding brand standards.
• Drive revenue through coaching on the floor and strategic management of commercial initiatives with the leadership team.
• Partner with the General Manager, Director of F&B, Head Chef and other department heads to ensure smooth operations across front- and back-of-house.
• Maintain control of P&L, costs and inventory, while ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction.
