Job summary

Action, a leading European retailer, is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to join its Talent Management team. You will shape development opportunities across stores, distribution centres, and offices, ensuring capabilities and clear career paths align with the organisation’s goals.

You will work with HR, Country Managers, Regional Directors, and senior leaders across Europe to design, implement, and embed scalable talent initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Talent Management/Development or related roles.
• Experience in large, high-volume environments (retail, hospitality, logistics, FMCG).
• Experience implementing talent programmes and driving initiatives from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with HR and business leaders across Action's international business to understand capability needs and opportunities to support development.
• Design and deliver talent development initiatives, translating strategies into scalable programmes and tools for a fast-paced retail environment.
• Develop and enhance talent processes and programmes, including career pathways, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Support embedding talent initiatives across countries and functions, helping colleagues adopt new development approaches.
• Use data and feedback to evaluate programmes and continuously improve talent offerings.
