Job summary

BYD in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is seeking an EU Purchasing Specialist to support Flash Charging deployments across Europe, sourcing local resources, materials, services, and suppliers.

You will coordinate with Central Purchasing, Deployment Managers, and local suppliers to meet project timelines, while building a scalable network of civil and electrical contractors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery across multiple European markets.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or project procurement for infrastructure/electricity/EV projects.
• Proven ability to outsource civil and electrical construction works, RFQ management, and contractor selection.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source local suppliers, contractors, materials, equipment, and services for Flash Charging deployments across EU countries.
• Qualify and coordinate local contractors for civil works, electrical works, construction activities, and installation services.
• Develop and maintain a network of electrical installers, civil contractors, and construction partners across Europe.
